RSVP and Questions

About: Des Moines’ “Clean It Up, Tyson!” Campaign will host the Clean Water, Clean Food Forum to bring together local experts, stakeholders, and community members to learn more about the links between water quality and food production. Join us for a panel discussion bringing forward unique perspectives on this issue.

Speakers will include:

Bill Stowe, Des Moines Water Works CEO

Ann Robinson, Iowa Environmental council Agriculture Policy Director

Fred Kirschenmann, Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture

David Cwiertny, University of Iowa Associate Professor, Sustainable Water Development Program Director

With holiday season on the way, there will be countless events focused entirely on food and other seasonal treats. Before we give thanks, let’s think critically about where this food comes from, how it’s produced, and its impacts on our health and environment. Together we can radically transform our food system for a more sustainable future. See you there!
